WHAT A WEEKEND...

Had a good weekend just gone doing my two residencies in Derby on the saturday night. First up i did my uber cool warm up session @ The Green Room which was very good all night and i'm really enjoying playing there at the minute as i get to play good music in a city center bar which is a rarity these days lol.

After that i headed to The Royal where this week we had just residents on and I played the last set which was good and a change from the main music of breaks all night and went down a treat plus it was a nice little warm up for when Freq! takeover the red room in November alongside Amplified on what is going to be a huge night for Derby.

 

THIS WEEKEND FRIDAY THE 21ST & SAT 22ND OF NOVEMBER...

This coming weekend it's a huge night for Derby clubbers as Freq! & Amplified join up for the night @ The Royal with trance in the main room and techno Freq! style in the red room. This event seems to have taken ages to come around and it's been getting good feedback all the way since we announced it a month or so back. In the main room headliners are Simon Patterson & Jon O'bir plus amplified residents then in my Freq! room there will be myself plus Rebekah and Makai & Rez from Product. Tickets have been selling well and you can also pay on the door so get on this one if you can.

Freq! v's Amplified / FRI 21ST NOV... Right kids this is a big date for your diary, my plan was not to do a Freq! in November but the opportunity came for me to work with the Amplifed team doing the back room on there date so i took it, and it will be awesome. I have confirmed Rebekah for the Freq! room alongside our residents and the Amplified room will confirmed shortly so stay tuned.

Freq! With AUDIOJACK / XMAS SUN 21st DEC... It's all about change again in december and we will be bringing the music right back down, dark and dirty as we throw our very special Xmas party with the awesome Audiojack. The boys will be joining us at freq! on sunday the 21st of December, yes that was sunday so no excuses as this is going to be a wicked party and i know the boys are looking forward to it already as it's been over a year since they were hear before so get this one in your diaries early.

i-DJ MAGAZINE 'ONE TO WATCH'... Had the amazing news that i will be featured in December's issue of i-DJ Magazine as 'One To Watch' which is awesome news and will be amazing publicity for myself just at the right time aswell. I will post the clip online when it's out but by all means get yourself to your local Whsmiths and grab a copy in December.

Freq! EP... I've been busy the last few months working away on some tracks that i've just had time to finally finish called 'Deathborough / Snap, Crackle & Pop / Ping Pong'. Initial feedback has been very positive and i'm currently in talks to get these tracks signed very soon so watch this space. You can hear them on my myspace player.

BACK TO MY DEEP / NO MAN'S LAND... I'm pleased to say two of my fave tracks i produced 'Back To My Deep & No Mans Land' have been signed to Nottingham based Shrink Records and will be out in possibly January '09 complete with remixers from label artists.

VOLVIC / DAVE JAMES FREQ! SHOW REMIX... I have just finished a remix of Lojak's big track 'Volvic' which will be promo'd at the forthcoming ADE Event in October. I will upload my remix to my myspace page as soon as it's been mastered. I think the package will do well as there some nice remixers on it and it's a cool track to have worked on.

DIS POEM / DAVE JAMES DIS DUB... My remix of Rob Webstars track 'Dis Poem' should be out this week on most digital download sites on Rob's own Cosmic Dust Records. The original was out a few weeks back and charted in the top ten on juno download so Rob asked me to do my usual deep techy stamp on it which is what i did creating a nice lil dub. Check it out when you can.

SEX TIME / DAVE JAMES 25 DEGREES REMIX... Check out the latest remix currently on my Myspace page in my player. Its called 'Sex Time' and it's by Spains Lady K and will be released on Minimal People later in the year. I'm really happy with my mix and initial feedback has been awesome so check it out on my myspace page.

DAVE JAMES / CRAZY PITCHER / OUT NOW... I'm pleased to say my track Crazy Pitcher was released on the 21st of July. It's on all major download sites including Beatport and Juno and even got featured on the front page of Beats Digital. It comes with two remixes one from Italy's Andrea Mocce and one from Mindform which are both on my Myspace page in my player, so check them out please.

ECLECTICA / DAVE JAMES REMIX OUT NOW... Check out my remix of 'Eclectica' currently on my Myspace page in my player. It's by 'Biozuni Project' and was released on May 30th on Italy's Nuhar Records and will be exclusive on Beatport for 4 weeks. All feedback and support is much appreciated.
